By Car
Parking in Reading is relatively easy as the town has plenty of good quality multi storey car-parks (mostly pay on exit). However, as with any major city, congestion can be a problem at peak times, and you are advised to plan your journeys carefully if you are driving across town at peak times (or better still avoid travelling at peak if at all possible). Car parks are clearly marked on our map. Real time traffic information signs on main routes into the town centre will advise you if car parks are full.
You may prefer to avoid traffic stress by using one of our Park and Ride Services. Parking is free, and you can save money by buying a return or family ticket on the bus. Buses run approx every 8 minutes.

There is good (but very well used) cycle parking in the town centre (including covered parking at The Oracle).
