Ross Video opens new EMEA HQ in Reading's White Building.

Ross Video launch OCFU2654Extending a warm welcome to Ross Video, a Canadian based company who design, manufacture and support a wide range of innovative products for use in video production applications.

Ross Video has recently moved into their new, purpose-designed EMEA HQ   and Customer Experience Centre at the newly refurbished White Building   in Reading, following three successful years at Pinewood Studios.

Commenting on the background to the move, David Ross, CEO is quick to   praise the efforts of the companies EMEA team in the face of challenging market conditions. “Ross Video finished our 2017 fiscal year with global growth – that’s our 26th year in a row – and the EMEA team delivered almost 30% growth compared with 2016. Our regional team has almost doubled in size since 2014 and, with our lease coming to an end at Pinewood, it was clear we needed a new home that would reflect the size and stature of the company we have no become in EMEA”.

Oscar Juste, Director of Sales for EMEA, is looking forward to continued investment in the region during 2018. “David and the senior management team in Canada have been incredibly supportive with this move and we’ve received the backing and investment needed to create something truly special. The office is certainly one of the most impressive spaces I have worked in and gives us everything we need to build on recent success and open the next chapter in the company’s development story. It reflects our ambition, and our anticipated growth, and we’re actively looking at other locations around Europe and the Middle East for future Ross centres”.

Set across two floors of the recently refurbished landmark White Building in Reading, the new Ross EMEA HQ features a large green-screen demo studio that includes the entire Ross range of solutions, a training centre for classrooms and workshop sessions, technical support labs and office space for up to 30 staff. The office was officially opened on Friday the 10th November by David Ross and Councillor Rose Williams the Mayor of Reading.

Nigel Horton-Baker, Executive Director of Reading UK who attended the opening, highlighted the significance of Ross Video choosing the town as their EMEA HQ. “For a globally recognised company such as Ross Video to leave Pinewood Studios, one of the world’s most renowned centres of video production, and move to Reading to establish their new EMEA HQ shows how much faith more and more companies are putting in our town as a place to invest into. The recently refurbished White Building is the perfect setting for such an innovative and exciting company to call their new home and to see a company invest into our town from overseas is not only a fantastic sign of Reading’s growing economy but also our growing reputation internationally as well”.
