Reading UK CIC and Reading Business Improvement District are delighted to announce that new Friday food market, CHOW, will be launching in Reading’s Market Place on Friday 24 April.
CHOW - Reading Friday Food Market will be serving up an enticing mix of tempting hot dishes from around the world as well as a selection of fresh produce in the town centre every Friday.
Residents, workers and visitors will be able to explore a wide range of new tastes with street food stalls spanning the four corners of the globe, from Mexican tacos and Caribbean jerk chicken to Greek style wraps, Spanish Paella or England’s Pie and Mash. Also on the menu will be scrumptious cakes, breads and local cheeses, fresh fruit, fish and meat, vegetarian dishes and gluten free produce to take away.
Bobby Lonergan, Reading Business Improvement District Manager, said: “We are delighted to announce the return of a weekly food market to Reading town centre. Last year’s food market showed that there is a real appetite for street food in Reading. CHOW will be operated by Southern Market Traders, one of the country’s top market operators, who will be creating a buzzy destination for food lovers every Friday.”

CHOW will open on Friday 24 April and operate in Market Place between 9am and 4pm every Friday.
