Footfall in June

EAT Reading 39Footfall figures for the month of June show a year on year increase of 0.8% for the month with June seeing a 500,000 increase on total footfall in the previous month.

The growth is particularly impressive when compared to the 1.2% decrease the South East region saw in the same period.

The highest footfall was on the day of Eat Reading, Saturday 2 June, highlighting the success that the BID organised events have on the town centre footfall.

Springboard's national benchmark report shows a 1.5% fall nationally over the last 3 months, the most favourable result since November 2017.
