Marketing and hospitality business expertise added to Reading UK Board

Reading UK has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors, supporting its work to drive economic recovery and growth in Reading post COVID-19. Becky Holland, Managing Director of BH&P, and John McLaughlin, Area General Manager Hilton, bring a wealth of experience to Reading UK’s Board in the service of the Reading economy.

In the challenging current climate, it is testament to the importance of Reading UK’s work that Becky Holland and John McLaughlin join us. They bring exceptional experience and insight to our Board in areas that will be crucial to energising Reading in a post-COVID landscape. His 30-year career has taken him to most major UK cities from Aberdeen to London as well as internationally to Nigeria. His relentless community and neighbourhood endeavours have been recognised by Hilton with several accolades.  Most recently, Dingley’s Promise recognised Hilton Reading as their annual Corporate Partner.

John McLaughlin, said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Reading UK Board and support its steer, drive, position and ambition for Reading’s enterprise and economy. The Reading UK Board composition is proving to be very successful and highly regarded and I am looking forward enormously to being part of that.”
