Verto Releases First Wave of Apartments

The first wave of apartments has been released at Verto, Reading’s tallest residential tower.

CNM Estates has launched Verto, a prime-location luxurious mixed-use development in the centre of Reading on Kings Road, overlooking the River Kennet.

Upon completion the development will be the town’s tallest residential tower standing at 180 feet with 18 storeys.

The stunning tower will be complete with three spectacular landscaped roof gardens and will provide picturesque views of the river and townscape from above.

Available for occupation from autumn 2018, the development will provide 103 superior one, two and three bedroom apartments and pent-houses varying in size from 461 sq. ft. to 1,349 sq. ft. with prices starting from £262,250.

The apartments are accessed through an elegant entrance lobby, complete with natural stone tiling and feature lighting throughout. Corridors are refined, with superior carpeting and fashionable laminate doors. Bicycle storage will be included for all residents, while there will be private parking spaces available by separate negotiation. There is lift access to all levels of the building with concierge service on hand to assist residents.

Built to the highest specification, apartments will be fully-fitted with contemporary Commodore designed kitchens, Sonoma Oak worktops and splashbacks and Bosch appliances.

Kitchens in the premium apartments will have marble splashbacks with Siemens appliances.

The homes will have hardwood oak engineered flooring and carpets in the bedrooms, with ceramic tiling and underfloor heating in the bathrooms, whilst some benefit from private balconies and terraces.

Verto 2Commenting on the launch of Verto, Alastair Young, Sales and Marketing Director at CNM Estates said, “This is a landmark project for Reading and promises to rejuvenate the surrounding area. The apartments are of an exceptionally high-quality with stunning views over the historical town.

“With large floorplates and an exceptional collection of amenities, I expect that the apartments will be very popular with prospective purchasers both from Reading and those are looking for a home with an easy commute to London. Reading has a strong supply of good schools and activities, so we’re also expecting to see interest from families looking for a spacious home in the centre of town.”

Located just minutes away from the sleek and modern Reading train station and numerous shopping amenities such as the Oracle, Broad Street Mall and Broad Street, the vast majority of apartments at Verto will offer views of the River Kennet that flows adjacent to the tower on its way to the town centre.

Other apartments will offer views out over the historic landscape of Reading, including the Reading GAOL and the recently restored Abbey Ruins which are due to reopen in June.

Reading also has a plethora of excellent schools and universities. Most notably, the centrally-located Reading University is in the Top 30 list of best 150 universities in the UK, whilst the town also boasts two of the country’s leading grammar schools, Reading School and Kendrick School.

Reading has built a reputation as a golden commuter hotspot due to its fast connections to London Paddington.

More recently Reading has established itself as a thriving business hub that rivals the likes of London, thanks to its highly-skilled and capable workforce in numerous sectors and professions.

Reading also boasts a particularly high ratio of large technology companies with a presence in the town, such as Microsoft, Prudential, Oracle and Ernst & Young to name a few. A testament to Reading’s significance as a place to work and live is that more workers commute IN for work, than those commuting to London.

With the Thames Valley Science Park development ongoing, as well as numerous shared offices and other various developments taking place in the town, there has never been a better time to live and work in Reading.

Further afield Reading’s proximity to the M4 allows easy access to nearby areas, including stunning areas of natural beauty like the Chiltern Hills and North Wessex Downs.

There are other key sites such as the Abbey Ruins, Madejski Stadium and Reading Museum, as well as surrounding areas like the Windsor Castle, Legoland Resort, Basildon Park and the Henley Regatta all accessible by car or train from the Verto development.

With the impending arrival of Crossrail in 2019, Reading will improve upon it’s already incredible transport links, opening up journeys to London’s Bond Street in less than an hour, and Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf in just over an hour.

Fully launched in April 2018, the residential apartments at Verto are available from £262,250. For further sales information, contact joint agents Haslams on: 0118 960 1010 or email: or visit:
