Reading Job Fest 2018

Wednesday 10 October  – The HexagonJobFest

If you are looking for a new job, something temporary for Christmas or a whole new career then head for Reading’s JOB FEST, which takes place on 10 October 10 at The Hexagon, Queens Walk, from 10am to 3pm. 

Up to 60 local businesses, training providers and self-employment experts will be on hand to share job opportunities and expert advice with local residents.

Organised by Reading UK and DWP JobCentre Plus, the Reading Job Fest is FREE for visitors and is expected to draw hundreds of people looking for new career ideas or ways to access training and employment support.  


Myra Canning, Employer Engagement Manager at DWP Job Centre said:  

“Our Job Fest will be brilliant – we have some great employers taking part and whatever your skills, age or background there will be lots of opportunities on offer for you. The event is also the perfect place to find a Christmas job if you are looking to make some extra cash.”

  • A learning and training hub, including CV support 
  • Apprenticeship offers
  • A huge range of permanent full time and part time positions
