River On Thames Festival 114After a tremendous inaugural Reading on Thames Festival in 2017, the 2018 addition looks set to continue the success this time round.

The Reading on Thames Festival aims to serve as a catalyst for collaboration and partnership across Reading’s creative and cultural sector, whilst celebrating the town’s charming historic waterways.

2018’s Festival line-up is beginning to take shape, and looks set to be one you don’t want to miss, with spectacular shows and activities such as live music at the stunning Concert Hall on Blagrave Street, walking tours of historic ruins, short film festival trails, theatrical performances at the Reading Film Theatre and so much more.

The festival aims to bring together the rich array of venues that Reading has to offer to create exhilarating audience Walk The Plank 7experiences and unexpected encounters showing Reading as a place of parks, rivers, culture and diversity.

Other activities include late night circuses, night time walking tours through urban spaces in the town, evening theatrical performances on the riverside and riverside walking tours setting off from a recently restored Edwardian bath.

There is so much on offer at the Reading on Thames Festival, and so much to celebrate about Reading so come and experience it for yourself!
