GET HERE BY RAIL
Reading is linked north, south, east and west by rail. GWR operate the mainline service between London and Bristol/Wales. Most fast trains stop at Reading. South West Trains operate services to the south and CrossCountry Trains trains operate services between the south coast and the north of England/Scotland which stop at Reading. TfL Rail operate the stopping Elizabeth Line service between London Paddington and Reading - 4 trains an hour (this will eventually be the Crossrail route through London)
Reading is only 22 minutes by train from London Paddington on a fast GWR mainline service.
BY ROAD
Reading is on the M4, the main motorway east-west from London to Wales. Reading is served by junctions 10 - 12 and the city centre is just 2 miles north of Junction 11. There are two park and rides on the edge of Reading.
GETTING AROUND READING
Reading town centre is highly walkable. The train station is 2 minutes walk from the man shopping streets. Reading Buses, UK Bus Operator of the Year, serve all of Reading and the wider area with a very regular service. There are a number of car parks in the town centre
