Find out more about what Reading could be like in the future
‘Where’s Reading Heading?’ was an exhibition concept devised by Brendan Carr of the Museum of Reading, in response to The Happy Museum Project and funding received in late 2014.
The Museum of Reading undertook to curate a short documentary film which reflects the themes and issues raised by the Reading 2050 initiative. Contributions from attendees to several workshops and interviews have been gathered into the short documentary film produced by Ginger & Pickles Ltd, while artist Jon Lockhart is currently working on a contemporary art installation called ‘Convergence’ which also reflects the themes and thoughts. Both products of the project will be complete by the end of April 2015, at which point at which point they can be utilised within further programmes of public engagement alongside the Reading UK 2050 team.
