Reading's street food markets

Reading has two weekly street food markets - Blue Collar on Wednesdays and CHOW on Fridays. Both are located in Market Place offering a great but different street food experience.

Reading's Friday street food market - CHOW

CHOW was launched in April 2015 by Reading UK CIC and is operated by SMT. The street food market serves up an enticing mix of tempting hot dishes from around the world in the town centre every Friday (10am-4pm). Reading residents, workers and visitors enjoy a wide range of new tastes with street food stalls spanning the four corners of the globe, from Mexican tacos and Caribbean jerk chicken to Greek style wraps, Spanish Paella or England’s Pie and Mash.  Also on the menu are noodles, gourmet burgers, falafel and Georgian cuisine and much more. CHOW is the place to be in Reading on a Friday lunchtime with up to 18 stalls serving hungry office workers and visitors.

Blue Collar Street Food Market every Wednesday

Blue Collar launched a new street food market for Reading in November 2016. Traders vary from week to week but there is a focus on local street food traders mixed with from further afield. Blue Collar aims to showcase Reading’s vibrant and developing food scene. More information
